This panorama shows the ice filled Sherman Crater, with Sherman Peak at upper right. The ice cliff at left is the upper portion of the Boulder Glacier, with the summit dome of Mount Baker above and left beyond the photo. The snowy peak of the North Cascades are visible in the distance. (Panorama with 90-degree field of view, digitally composited from three photographs taken during our descent that afternoon.)
