We skied up to about 6800 ft, scouting the route we would follow the next morning. At the edge of the snowfield where it joins the Easton Glacier, Alex decided a few hijinks were in order before we skied back down the soft late afternoon snow. Our route the next day would follow a line just above Alex's right knee (left in photo) to the highest visible snow (the Roman Wall), which is at the edge of the summit dome.
