We skied down to our camp, packed up, and then decided to see how far we could ski before the snow ran out. Although we had to ski across a couple of small patches of heather, we made it down to a marshy area west of the Railroad Grade at 4900 ft, a continuous ski descent of 5900 vertical feet from the summit (in August!). From there we hiked back to the trailhead, catching a final view of the summit as we crossed the outlet stream of the Easton Glacier.Trip Introduction | Previous Page | Next Page
