There were some fine views of Lassen from the south along the park road, although clouds were now rapidly moving in overhead. In this view the snow covered southeast slope is just beyond the right ridgeline. We took a short hike to loosen our legs, then got back in the car for the drive north to our next ski objective, Mount Shasta.
