The first day, we practiced a variety of low-angle ice techniques, including cramponless climbing, step-cutting, and flat-foot cramponing (French technique). We then split into two groups, one of which continued low-angle glacier ice practice (background) while the other set up a top-rope for steeper ice climbing on seracs (foreground).
