From near 7200 ft we could look down into the deep chasm carved by the toe of the Deming Glacier (just visible in the valley at center). Above and right is Seward Peak (8000 ft), the southernmost of the Black Buttes along Baker's western flank. In the distance is the Twin Sisters range about 10 miles to the south.
