Location: Coast Mountains, southwestern British Columbia,
40 miles (65 km) N of Vancouver
Lat / Long: 49.8° N, 123.0° W
Volcanic Type: Stratovolcano, originally supraglacial, now partially collapsed
Volcanic Status: Dormant
First Ascent: A. Dalton, W. Dalton, A. King,
T. Pattison, J. Trorey, and G. Warren, 1907
First Ski Descent: Varsity Outdoor Club and Alpine Club of Canada outing, 1944
Skiable Vertical: over 8000 ft (2400 m)
Lift Served Vertical:   proposed Garibaldi at Squamish ski area on Brohm Ridge
to west, with planned 3000 ft (900 m) vertical
Timberline: 5000-6000 ft (1500-1800 m)
Administration: Garibaldi Provincial Park
Protection Status:   Provincial Park is administered as wilderness
User Fees: $10 overnight use fee for Elfin Lakes Shelter
